How this piece was made.

STAGE 01

Denim, Textured Panels and Sole Pieces

The monogram material is laid out with the outsole and small trim components, then brought beside the pale textured panels. These views establish the contrast between the woven pattern and the raised graphics around the tongue and lace area.

STAGE 02

Fitting the Trim to the Upper

Loose lace-area trim is aligned over the assembled upper, followed by close views of the heel and panel junction. The emphasis is on the fit of the shaped pieces and the seam where the contrasting materials meet.
