How this piece was made.

STAGE 01

Digital Patterns and Material Selection

Digital panel outlines are reviewed alongside reference pairs and a leather sheet. The pattern work establishes the curved overlays and quilted areas before they are assembled into the two-tone upper.

STAGE 02

Quilting and Layered Construction

Close views isolate the quilted grid, the curved toe border and the material beneath the surface. The development focus is the meeting point between the padded panels and their stitched contrasting edges.
