STAGE 01

Material and Trim References

Leather surfaces, tongue labels and heel embroidery are reviewed as separate components. The close-ups establish the grain, panel edges and small graphic details that need to remain legible once the upper is assembled.

STAGE 02

Developing the Heel Embroidery

The winged emblem and face motif are examined on shaped heel pieces and loose upper sections. Their stitch direction, outline and placement are considered against the curved heel panel rather than as isolated flat graphics.
