How this piece was made.

STAGE 01

Material and Component Development

Development began by coordinating the black shell, tonal fabric swatches and badge options around the Ghost-series brief. The sample layout establishes the cargo-pocket structure and provides a working reference for aligning the garment body with its dark, low-contrast components.

STAGE 02

Tonal Badge Refinement

The badge was refined through black-on-black embroidery and backing trials, with attention to the compass geometry, lettering, edge finish and button-slot placement. The selected direction keeps the branding legible through texture while preserving the subdued Ghost-series appearance.

STAGE 03

Hardware and Garment Assembly

Black press fasteners, matching zippers and the tonal badge were coordinated with the completed shorts. This stage focuses on integrating the functional trims into the elastic-waist cargo construction without interrupting the consistent dark finish.

STAGE 04

Closure and Production Detailing

Close inspection of the YKK zipper components and an in-process button-setting view document the closure work used on the garment. The purpose is to control how the dark hardware sits against the shell and how the removable badge attaches to the cargo pocket.

The overall cargo layout, pointed pocket flaps and three-fastener arrangement are closely aligned, while small differences remain visible in pocket proportions, flap geometry and the tonal appearance of the hardware.
