How this piece was made.

STAGE 01

Material and Interior Development

The development focuses on a light summer construction using fine 20D nylon, supported by an internal mesh layer for airflow and structure. The supplied detail views document the finished shorts with their presentation materials and the open-mesh component used inside the garment.

STAGE 02

Mesh and Hardware Development

The mesh was developed with an open cellular structure and integrated into the utility-pocket construction. Tonal custom snap components were prepared to keep the closures visually consistent with the black shell and low-profile design.

The side-by-side views compare the overall five-point silhouette and cargo-pocket execution. The developed version follows the reference placement of the pocket flaps, tonal snap closures and lower logo patches, with the comparison also showing differences in pocket-panel and mesh configuration.

This group compares two functional details: the exposed mesh section beneath the cargo-pocket flap and the black waist drawcord. The developed version follows the reference layout while matching the restrained tonal treatment across the mesh, cord and surrounding nylon panels.
