How this piece was made.

STAGE 01

Artwork and Embroidery Development

The development process focused on translating the Moncler Archive script into embroidery with the intended letter shapes, spacing, and stitch coverage. Production references document the artwork setup and repeated embroidery execution used to keep the chest motif consistent across garments.

STAGE 02

Branding and Finishing Development

This stage refined the finished embroidery against the approved artwork and completed the neckline branding. The attached work-in-progress evidence shows the script placement being checked alongside the application of the woven neck label.

The side-by-side garment and close-detail references compare the developed piece with the reference sample at both overall and component level. The developed version follows the same black short-sleeve silhouette, contrast inner neckline, chest script placement, and sleeve-badge arrangement, while minor differences remain visible in the script’s stroke density and individual letter contours.

The close comparisons focus on two identity-defining details: the sleeve badge and the layered neckline. The developed badge reproduces the recognizable profile, cream ground, navy-and-red embroidery, and perimeter stitching, with small differences in outline proportions and embroidery shaping; the neckline comparison also confirms the grey contrast rib and woven label treatment, while showing variation in label typography and collar construction between samples.
