How this piece was made.

STAGE 01

Material and Production Development

Development focused on recreating the light grey mélange body fabric and organizing the garment’s main production components, including the cut panels and prepared zip utility pockets, before final assembly.

STAGE 02

Silhouette and Construction Development

The completed front and back samples were reviewed to refine the relaxed bomber silhouette, stand collar, straight zip front, ribbed hem and cuffs, angled flap pockets and sleeve utility-pocket placement.

Chest Embroidery Comparison

The chest embroidery was compared against the reference for motif proportions, stitch coverage and internal negative spaces, with the developed version closely following the recognizable polo-player outline while retaining minor contour differences.

The collar shape, printed neck marking, zipper hardware and ribbed hem were developed in relation to the reference, with attention to their scale, placement and tonal coordination with the light grey body.

The cuff comparison concentrates on rib depth, attachment shape and the transition from the sleeve fabric into the knitted trim, reproducing the reference’s restrained tonal finish and compact bomber-style cuff.
