How this piece was made.

STAGE 01

Fabric and Filling Development

Development focused on balancing the washed sky-blue denim exterior with a smooth, densely woven inner layer. Magnified inspection was used to study the lining structure and confirm the intended construction direction before detailing the finished jacket.

STAGE 02

Construction Detail Development

The team refined the jacket through close inspection of its denim weave, reinforced edge stitching and custom metal hardware. Particular attention was given to maintaining the deliberately aged surface character while keeping seams and attached components clearly defined.

STAGE 03

Lining and Identification Details

The internal construction was developed around a padded, striped lining that follows the shape of the sleeves and body. Interior labels and scannable identification details were incorporated as part of the finished garment specification.

Side-by-side inspection concentrates on two defining details: the spacing and direction of the striped sleeve lining, and the raised, distressed embroidery on the denim. The developed version follows the reference layout while retaining the intentionally worn edges of the lettering.
