How this piece was made.

STAGE 01

Embroidery Development

The development work focused on translating the compact stacked chest motif into embroidery, with digitized artwork used to control its rounded letterforms, spacing and warm brown thread placement on the striped ground; the production views also document the embroidery process and coordinated buttonhole stitching.

STAGE 02

Silhouette and Construction Development

The jacket was developed around a relaxed blouson silhouette with a pointed collar, zip front, dropped shoulders, adjustable button cuffs and an elasticated hem. Side-by-side samples were used to review the washed stripe character, overall proportions and finishing against a market reference.
