STAGE 01

Buckle and Leather Detail

The buckle is examined from the side to establish its form and surface finish. A magnified leather sample complements that study, keeping attention on the two materials that meet at the front of the belt.

STAGE 02

Strap and Buckle Assembly

The assembly sequence brings the patterned straps, leather sections and buckles together. Repeated views of the prepared belts show the relationship between the strap ends, keepers and buckle attachments.
